Professional Plan – it starts with a personal choice

I know we all fall victim to the "daily grind" at the office, but what ever happened to personal accountability?

I am always amazed that people can complain and find fault in other people, departments, systems, tools, bosses, etc...but never own anything that they can do to make themselves better.

Why is that? I think I know the answer, but the real questions are:
  • How do you change your mindset to make sure you do not fall into the trap?
  • How do you keep yourself on track to maximize your success?
  • If you are a manager, how do you help encourage others to make a "better" personal choice
The choice you make (if you choose to make it) is the beginning of your professional plan to make yourself the best you can! You decide what you do, when you do it, how you do it, and what you plan to get from the efforts, activities, drive, or focus.

To quote the band The Brand New Heavies, "If you believe it, you can achieve it and that's why I believe in you, and I believe in me."

What do you believe you can do today and are you willing to do it?
